Q: What is your photographic style?

A: I tend to take on more of a lifestyle approach to my photography. I love being in the moment with my clients! If I can capture your uniqueness as a couple, then I’ve done my job! There is always a need, especially at weddings, for formal posed portraits, and I do believe they are SO important! You’ll receive a combination of posed and unposed sometimes ‘candid’ images.

Q: How much experience do you have with weddings?

A: I have been photographing weddings professionally in the Rogue Valley and beyond for over 10 years. The weddings I've captured have varied in size and have included many different traditions and special moments. Each wedding has been a joy to capture! I have been so happy to deliver beautiful galleries to all my couples with images of moments they can relive forever!

Q: How are images delivered?

A: Your images will be delivered to you on a beautiful online gallery hosted by Pic-Time. These galleries give you the option to share individual images or an entire collection with friends and family! You have full downloadable access to the high-resolution images, with no download limit. Prints can also be purchased directly through your gallery with different sizes and mediums available.

Q: Do I get a print release?

A: YES! When I deliver your images, you receive a print release so you can print your images at your leisure! While I recommend ordering through me or a reputable print lab, you can order prints and print products anywhere using your downloaded images. I match my editing to a specific print lab and order the prints I send to my clients from that lab exclusively.

Q: What type of equipment do you use?

A: I use a Canon R5 Mirrorless as my main camera body. I also have a Canon 5D Mark iv as a backup camera, second body. I use a combination of prime (non-zoom) and zoom lenses, including, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 100mm, 28-70mm and 70-200mm! I also have several flashes and light stands for receptions and use when needed.

Q: Can I see one of your previous wedding galleries?

A: OF COURSE! I would love to send a gallery from a past real wedding to you! I may even have one from your venue, which can be very helpful! Just send me a message!

Q: How many images will we get from our wedding or engagement session?

A: Although the amount of images received varies depending on the collection selected, I often over deliver images for my clients! You may receive multiple images of the same pose because while I may prefer photo A, you might like the way your smile is in photo B. I have a history of happy clients with lots of images to share and choose from! If you asked to see a gallery you’ll know what I mean. :) Because I offer many images I ask for 12 weeks for image delivery.

Q: We feel so uncomfortable in front of the camera, what if we are awkward or can’t pose ourselves?

A: This is probably the concern I hear most! I always assure my clients that I provide a fun, laid back experience with lots of fun and laughs. I pride myself on posing and often use movement or small adjustments to make poses more natural and less stiff!

Q: Should we do a first look or not?

A: Photographers love weddings with first looks. They give us a bit more time for photos and allow us to finish most of the important images before the ceremony, which allows the bride and groom to get to their reception quickly. On the contrary, I completely see why some couples prefer to wait until the ceremony to see each other. I have done weddings with both styles and love either tradition!

Q: Will there be a second photographer at my wedding?

A: Each of my collections includes a second photographer for a varying amount of time, depending on the collection selected. I firmly believe in having a second angle for important moments like the ceremony or first look! This especially helps round out the wedding gallery with images with different focal lengths or angles provided by the second photographer.

Q: How can I reserve my wedding date?

A: Weddings dates are secured when the retainer is paid and the contract is signed and returned.
